I have been practicing as a counselor since 2010. I became licensed on March of 2013 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My degree is an M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy. My desire is to be a vessel of hope to those who are hurting. As a therapist, it is my goal to join with you to help find healing and hope whether you are a child, a teen, a young adult, a woman, a man, or a couple.

I have been married for 29 years to my beloved. I married my highschool sweetheart, and we started dating November 17th, 1984. I count all 35 years mostly because I am so proud of how far we have come. Marriage is one of those challenging relationships that we do not get a beginners manual for, however it is my belief that when we come together as a couple for the purpose of the marriage, then the marriage wins. Ultimately it is about the couple winning and not the individual.

When divorce happens, the dissolution of a marriage between two people, turns into painful consequences, not just for the two who entered into a covenant, but to all involved. The shattered dreams, ideas, expectations, their hopes of a future become a devastating reality that has long-term effects on all involved. I want to help families avoid divorce. I do believe in fighting for your marriage.

Children are precious and pure. My desire in working with children is to help them overcome the inner most issues that target their self-worth, and their mindsets. I believe that if we work together at a young age then children will strive to have a stronger purpose for themselves, make healthy decisons, as well as to have healthy relationships with others. Afterall, we are raising husbands and wives of the future.
